Where do I park?

Non-validated valet parking is available in our building, with a daily maximum of $32. There is also a public parking structure directly across the street at 440 N Camden Drive that offers 1-hour free parking and a daily maximum of $22.

Do I need to fast before surgery?

No food or drink after midnight the night before surgery. It's okay to brush your teeth, but do not swallow any water. If you take medications, check with your physician to see if you should continue taking them on or before the day of surgery. If instructed to take your medications in the morning, take them with only a small sip of water.

What should I bring on the day of my surgery?

Please bring your government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver license, passport, visa), any medications you take regularly, and any medications provided by your surgeon.

What should I not bring to the surgery center?

Accepted Answer

Leave all your valuables at home, including jewelry and watches. Lockers are provided to store your clothing.

What should I wear the day of surgery?

Accepted Answer

Please wear comfortable, dark-colored loose clothing with no metal, and comfortable shoes. Do not wear makeup, eyelash extensions, or nail polish. Do not wear contacts as you will be asked to remove them. Please wear/bring your prescription glasses instead.

Can my caretaker stay in the waiting room?

To ensure the comfort, privacy, and safety of all our patients, we kindly ask that guests, family members, friends, and caretakers do not wait inside the surgery center. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

What do I do if your instructions are different than the ones my surgeon provided?

Can I Uber home after my procedure?

You cannot drive yourself home, nor can you leave in an Uber, Lyft, or taxi without someone accompanying you. You must arrange for a responsible adult to take you home after surgery.
